In this segment, AGAG Executive Director Niamani Mutima talks with Eddah Jowah and Dr. Tendai Murisa of the Sivio Institute about their research on community philanthropy in Zimbabwe.

They discuss two recent reports, “Community Foundations in Zimbabwe: An Analysis of Eleven Case Studies” and “Evaluating Impact of COVID-19 on Community-Based Organizations and Foundations.” Taken together, both reports provide new information on the landscape of community philanthropy in Zimbabwe and the impact of the pandemic on the organizations themselves and their ability to serve their communities.
