Training of Local Councillors and Residents Associations

SIVIO Institute provided technical support to the International Republican Institute. The task entailed training members of Residents Associations and Local Councillors in 4 locations, namely Marondera, Chitungwiza, Bulawayo and Goromonzi in Local Governance. A total of 10 Local Councillors and 92 members of Resident’s Associations were trained between March and April 2022. The training was created using content modified from our Public Policy and Analysis Course to train these groups to engage in local advocacy efforts ahead of the 2023 national elections.
